Course Description
A thorough non-accredited online awareness course covering fall prevention and protection under Australian WHS law. Structured around the elements and knowledge evidence of RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights (accredited delivery must be by a Registered Training Organisation) and the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Managing the Risk of Falls at Workplaces. Eleven slide-based sections cover legal duties, risk management and the hierarchy of control, fall hazards, edge protection, scaffolds, EWPs and ladders, SWMS and permits, job planning and site set-up, anchorages, access and fall clearance calculation, performing work safely at height, dropped object control, emergency and rescue planning, dismantling, equipment inspection, storage and records. Finishes with an 80-question knowledge check requiring 100% to pass.
