Course Description

A prep course for the nationally recognised CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (the White Card). This is NOT the accredited unit. It is written in plain English to help students who find reading, writing, numbers or English difficult. 10 detailed sections cover WHS law, site signs and colours, common construction hazards, the hierarchy of control, PPE, communication, hazard/incident reporting, emergencies, and test-day tips including reasonable adjustment. Includes a 75-question mock knowledge test that must be passed at 100% (retry only the wrong ones).
